Our Commitment We want you to love every product from The Scented Chapter. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

Returns Due to the nature of our products (candles and wax melts), we are unable to accept returns on opened or used items. We accept returns on unopened, unused items in original packaging within 14 days of delivery.

To initiate a return:

  1. Email us at [your email] with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We'll provide return instructions and a return address.
  3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the credit.

Damaged or Incorrect Items If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong item, please contact us at hello@thescentedchapter.co within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the damaged or incorrect item

We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items: The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Opened or used candles and wax melts
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items

Exchanges We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, please return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
